Here is how to change your Internet Explorer default caption/title with your own word.
- First let me show you screen shot before we make change. Original text “Windows Internet Explorer”.

- Then lets fire up regedit. Start > Run > type “regedit” > press enter or by shortcut window key + R > type “regedit” > press enter
- After regedit opened, navigate trough tree view at the left and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
- Then look for a name Window Title, if you found it skip to next step. If you can’t find it then you have to create a String Value, right click and select new > string value. When it ask for a name, enter “Window Title” without quote.

- Double click on the Window Title key and new message box popup. Enter any text you like, that will be your new IE caption.

That’s all, now enjoy your new hack.
